New Study Links Alcohol Consumption to Increased Risk of Pancreatic Cancer
A new international study has revealed a strong connection between alcohol consumption and an increased risk of pancreatic cancer. Researchers found that drinking 1–2 alcoholic beverages per day for women and 2–4 per day for men raised the risk by 15%, while consuming four or more drinks daily increased the risk by 36%.
These findings suggest that alcohol may play a greater role in the development of this deadly cancer than previously understood—offering another reason to be mindful of long-term lifestyle habits and their impact on overall health.
For those looking to reduce risk, focus on moderation, nutrient-rich foods, and regular preventive screenings as part of a holistic health strategy.
